Recruitment

Building and inclusive workplace starts with hiring inclusively. Hiring inclusively starts with inclusive recruitment.

The resources on this page are meant to provide employers with the tools and tactics they need to better understand how to successfully recruit and retain individuals on the autism spectrum or with an intellectual disability. These resources cover a wide range of topics, including understanding the benefits of inclusive hiring, creating inclusive job descriptions, providing effective support and accommodations in the application and outreach process, and working with organizations that specialize in employment services for individuals with disabilities

The Inclusive Workplace is an initiative of Ready, Willing and Able, a partnership of the Autism Alliance of Canada and Inclusion Canada. This work is made possible by the generous support of the Government of Canada’s Opportunities Fund.
